The HPC team at GRNET (hpc.grnet.gr) is looking for experts

 

GRNET (www.grnet.gr) operates an 180 TFLOPS, x86 based, national HPC facility in Greece that will provide HPC resources to all research and academic communities in Greece based on a fair peer review system. GRNET is looking for qualified experts that will perform scientific review of the proposals.

 

GRNET is planning to open calls for production applications to run on the national HPC facility very soon. Calls will be scheduled periodically with a frequency of at least twice per year.

 

Experts will be assigned one or more proposals for review. They will be notified by e-mail about the availability of proposals and will initially be given the following details about the proposal:

• title

• acronym

• personal details of PI and his collaborators

• deadline

• guidelines for the review

 

so that they evaluate and accept the declaration about confidentiality and conflict of interest and accept the review.

Upon acceptance of the review and signature of the confidentiality and conflict of interest agreements, the reviewers will receive all the relevant information including the full proposal.

We appreciate your voluntary contribution to the operation of our national HPC facility and the contribution to excellent science associated with such practices.
